Alert: CERT TRAINING - FREE
If you would like to volunteer to be on the CERT TEAM for TALTY (Certified Emergency Response Team), Classes will be held on 3 consecutive Saturdays in July: 10, 17 and 24 at the Talty Baptist Church, 5210 N. FM 148 in Talty. Classes will be held from 8:30-3:30 p.m. You must attend all 3 classes to become certified. Please contact the office for further information.

OUR MISSIONOur mission is to provide a stable living environment, ideal for families to live and grow. We love our community, our children, and our country. OUR HISTORYTalty was incorporated on May 1, 1999 with a population of 600. Today the population is about 1,550. Talty is defined as a General Law City governed by a Mayor and five council members. The council generally meets every 3rd Tuesday of each month, 7pm, at the Trinity Family Church in Talty (SW corner of I20 & FM1641). The public is encouraged to attend these meetings.
